Maintaining the   Quality in a New Urbanist Icon

From 2005-2008, Opticos served as the Seaside Town Architect. As the Seaside Town Architect it is our role to review all projects within the Town of Seaside to ensure that they are consistent with the Form-Based Code and Architectural Standards that were established as part of the Duany-Plater Zyberk master plan. The ultimate goal is to ensure the high quality of projects that sets Seaside apart from adjacent projects.

Opticos also opened an office in Seaside to help Robert and Daryl Davis implement the Town Square and Beach Side Master Plan that they have been working on with them for several years. This plan establishes the framework for the build-out of the downtown area.
