Harvest Glen
Santa Maria, California
Project: Creation of a vibrant 13-acre, medium-density, pedestrian-oriented neighborhood through site planning and architecture. The project sought to create an innovative housing type that differentiated itself from the local multi-family housing market through its superior design, with due respect to both the client’s budget and the City’s planning and zoning standards.
Program: A fine-grain mixture of 205 2- and 3-bedroom town homes varying in depth from 30’ to 40’ and from 22’ to 36’ in width. The program also included a pool and pool house, a neighborhood hall, and a postal pavilion that establishes a neighborhood center within the main square. The net density of the project, including this public program is 16 units/acre.
Client: Capital Pacific Homes
