Hercules Bayfront Project Receives Golden Nugget Award of Merit & Status as a California Catalyst Project

Hercules Bayfront, the LEED-ND Certified 40 acre mix-used waterfront TOD that Opticos planned for Anderson Pacific recently won a coveted 2010 Gold Nugget Award of Merit for Best Infill, Re-Development or Rehab Site Plan. Earlier this month, the state of California also named the Bayfront project as one of 13 California Catalyst Projects, which makes funding and other perks from State and federal sources available to the project. The Catalyst Projects for California Sustainable Strategies Pilot Program is designed to incentivize innovative land use planning and green building strategies, and is funded through Proposition 1C.
